A marine-derived biostimulant obtained by enzymatically degrading alginate from brown seaweed.
MacroAlga Alginate Oligosaccharide (AOS) is a next-generation fertilizer synergist produced via proprietary enzymatic hydrolysis technology. With an average molecular weight of 600 Da and a unique unsaturated double bond structure, AOS delivers superior bioactivity compared to conventional algal extracts. It stimulates root development, enhances nitrogen use efficiency, and improves crop resilience under abiotic stress.
Developed by Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (CAS), our process uses self-produced alginate lyase to generate AOS with the highest bioactivity available on the market. The presence of the unsaturated double bond is the key factor driving AOS physiological activity in plants.
